Transducer measures tensile and compressive forces

A HBM UK product story

The U10M force transducer substantially reduces crosstalk between bending moments and lateral forces through its integrated, patented compensating circuit.

The U10M force transducer from HBM substantially reduces crosstalk between bending moments and lateral forces through its integrated, patented compensating circuit.

Bending moments are determined for each transducer individually making the U10M robust and with excellent measurement characteristics.

The U10M force transducer is the ideal choice for a wide range of testing applications including double bridge version, mechanical adapters, connector variants, or TEDS (transducer electronic datasheet).

If, for safety reasons, redundant double-bridge versions are used, the compensating circuit ensures that both measuring bridges benefit from the same quality of measurement.

A feature of the U10M force transducer is its high safety margins with parasitic loads.

The U10M force transducer measures tensile and compressive forces.

It can be used for static and dynamic component tests in test benches and test equipment.

The low-profile force transducer is rotationally symmetrical and provides excellent fatigue strength characteristics even at extreme vibration bandwidths of +/-100%.

The U10M force transducer is available in the following nominal (rated) measuring ranges: 1.25, 2.5, 5, 12.5, 25, 50, 125, 250 and 500kN.
