Alcoa Fastening Systems appoints Simone Mendig to support its Recoil brand products.

Alcoa Fastening Systems has appointed Simone Mendig to support its Recoil brand products.

They are used to repair damaged or create new screw threads in the electronics, power generation and transportation industries.

Mendig speaks German, her native language, and fluent English.

Before joining AFS, she worked in the customer service call centre for business to business office product distributor Lyreco.

She will become part of a team with Jessica Beech and multilingual Natasha Murtagh.

Together, they are responsible for processing sales enquiries and delivering customer support to the distributor network for Recoil throughout the UK and Europe.

Nicola Kelly, Recoil Marketing Executive at AFS, said: "We have set in place a new distributor programme, carried out extensive marketing which will continue into 2006 and most recently exceeded our target by achieving 98% on time delivery".

"Mendig's language skills and customer service experience combined with the skills of the other members of the team places us on a firm footing to improve continually our customer service in 2006".
