Alcoa Fastening Systems (AFS), with Huck fasteners as a key brand, engineers high-quality high-performance fastening systems serving a variety of applications predominantly in the truck, trailer, commercial vehicle body builder, auto and railcar markets.

The Huck Magna Grip fastener was first used by Alstom Tarbes in 1992 and continued by Cegelec, which acquired Alstom's contracting division in 2000.
Patrick Bourriaux, Factory Manager at the Soues plant is very familiar with Magna Grip and the benefits derived from using Huck products and tooling.
He said: "Although some customers specify welding, it is much more cost effective and quicker for us to use Huck's fastening systems".
"In addition, the order from China will nearly double our order book, so having a system in place that reduces time and enables greater production capacity is a huge benefit".
Marc Ait-Ouarabi, Customer Manager for AFS in France, said: "Magna-Grip's large grip range enables it to be used throughout the steel frames manufactured by Cegelec".
"In addition, using only one fastener type that is easily installed reduces cost, keeps joint re-assembly to a minimum, and maintains the quality of their products".
"I'm sure that any challenges raised with the order from China will be confidently met and serve to strengthen the relationship between Cegelec and AFS". Request a free brochure from Alcoa Fastening Systems ...
