HSI has added a size 23 noncaptive linear actuator to its growing hybrid motor line Joining the size 17 noncaptive, captive and external linear actuators, the size 23 incorporates the same high performance and durable design

Built for long life (over 1 million cycles) and superior performance, the size 23 linear actuator features engineering thermoplastics in the rotor drive nut and a stainless-steel Acme lead screw.

With this patented design, greatly reduced motor noise and maintenance free operation are ensured.

The configuration of a stainless-steel and bronze nut is typically used in today's industry, but has been proven to wear considerably after minimal usage.

This hybrid linear actuator is available in a wide variety of resolutions ranging from 0.0003125 to 0.001in and delivers thrusts of up to 200lb without compromising long life and cost.

Applications requiring precise positioning and rapid motion are best suited for this motor.

Typical applications include medical equipment, x-y tables, semiconductor handling, telecommunication equipment, valve control and many more.

Priced competitively, this product is ideal for drop-in replacements to improve performance and life or for incorporation into your next project.

In addition to standard configurations, HSI can custom design this motor to meet specific application requirements.
