Fluid viscosity measurement comes online

A Hydramotion product story

Once a mainstay of laboratory analysis, fluid viscosity measurement has now been brought on-line in the shape of XL Series Process Viscometers from Hydramotion.

Once a mainstay of laboratory analysis, fluid viscosity measurement has now been brought on-line in the shape of XL Series Process Viscometers from Hydramotion.

Robustly designed, yet capable of performing with high accuracy and stability, these sensors are well suited to fluid process environments across many industries.

Following simple flange installation - no off take piping is needed - the sensors will operate under a wide range of temperature, pressure and flow with very high immunity to plant noise.

Also, because the XL Series employs a vibrational principle of operation, the use of moving parts, seals or bearings is rendered as unnecessary.

Transducer construction is thus solid and streamlined and maintenance is virtually eliminated.

All XL Series transducers interface directly with the versatile HP550 Microprocessor unit which provides a digital readout and 4-20mA output.

Above all, on-line measurement, as performed by XL Series sensors, offers the comfort of knowing that any problematic trends or fluctuations in process viscosity will be immediately detected, enabling prompt corrective action to be taken.
