Need to position precisiely in high vacuum?
Precision linear motion systems for ultra high vacuum conditions (UHV) have been introduced by Heason Technologies Group.
The ServoStar CD has current ratings of 3 to 10 amps for 115 to 230 VAC operation and is designed for direct connection to a 230 volt line mains.
Both the 3 and 6 amp models offer 3:1 peak-to-continuous ratings whilst the 10 amp model offers 2:1.
There is also an option of accepting control voltage through an external 24V supply to increase control flexibility.
All ServoStar CD models are available for use with encoder or resolver feedback and can receive three-phase input power for improved power factor.
Motor commands are received as +/-10 volt analogue command signal, pulse and direction command or an optional SERCOS interface.
The ServoStar CD also offers positioning capabilities, high resolution servo loops and multi-drop serial communications.
Heason says typical applications for the ServoStar CD are packaging machines, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and material handling.
These applications benefit from improved productivity, cost savings and a universal amplifier solution.
MotionLink software for the ServoStar CD guides the user through simple steps to set-up and configure the amplifier/motor system to match the application.
System analysis is performed through MotionLink with its built-in oscilloscope and monitoring functions.
