Automation component distributor and system integrator, Heason Technologies Group, has appointed two new directors; Roger Lacey and Jonathan Howard.
Automation component distributor and system integrator, Heason Technologies Group, has appointed two new directors; Roger Lacey and Jonathan Howard.
Roger Lacey is a well-know figure in the motion control industry, having owned Hightech Components, which he sold to Kollmorgen USA in 1994.
He subsequently joined the Kollmorgen Aerospace and Defence Group as vice president, responsible for the European, African and Middle East Markets.
In 1998, he set up his own consultancy, working with Kollmorgen and several other highly successful American operations in Europe.
Jonathan Howard has worked for Heason for the last 12 years, as technical manager, in charge of production of all motion control systems.
He also headed the successful technical launch of products from Etel SA (Switzerland) and Delta Tau (USA), both ranges marketed in the UK by Heason.
David Wheeler, Managing Director of Heason, said "Both Roger and Jonathan will add a new depth of knowledge to Heason when they join Graham Mackrell as directors.
Roger's unique experience will be of particular value." Heason Technologies Group is based in Chichester, and is the UK distributor for Harmonic Drive, Kollmorgen, Bayside Motion Group, Delta Tau, Etel and Nanomotion, backed by a complete design, build and install motion system package to ISO 9001.
