Chance to win a bike at Drives and Controls show

A Heason Technology product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 17, 2001

Heason Technologies Group is offering the chance to win an electric bike on its stand at the Drives and Controls Exhibition.

Win an electric bike on the Heason Technologies Group stand (C11) at the Drives and Controls Exhibition.

It's not so you can get fit because it is driven by a Kollmorgen slotless DC motor - an example of the application of today's battery powered motor technology which can also be applied for such things as wheel chairs and golf trolleys.

Also on the Heason stand will examples of the servo motors (rotary and linear), drives, gearheads, actuators and linear motion products offered by the company, either as integrated packages or as stand-alone components.

Working demonstrations of integrated, precision, multi-axis stages, comprising both linear (horizontal and vertical) and rotary axes will be key features on the stand.

As UK distributor for Harmonic Drive, Kollmorgen, Bayside, ETEL and Nanomotion, Heason's product range covers most motion control applications, backed by the engineering expertise to martial the different technologies to achieve customer requirements.

From the Harmonic Drive range there will be examples of the unique gear units and component sets, including the new 30:1 'Super Mini' and smart 'FHA' hollow shaft servo actuator that always knows its position, even if gearing is involved.

Kollmorgen exhibits will include complete servo systems incorporating such products as the 'ServoStar CD' digital amplifier and 'GoldLine DDR' brushless servo motor.

Linear and rotary stages, planetary gearheads and servo gearheads comprise the Bayside products exhibited, whilst from ETEL there will be iron core and ironless linear motors, brushless torque motors and digital servo drives.

From Nanomotion there will be exhibits of advanced piezo ceramic motor technology for both linear and rotary motion applications.
