A live demonstration of the latest BEI Kimco Magnetics linear actuator system generated considerable interest at the recent Drives and Controls show at the NEC Birmingham Heason Technologies, the UK representative for BEI Kimco Magnetics, arranged the demonstrations on its stand

The new noncommutated, linear servomotor provides convenience, speed and performance and comprises a fully enclosed, linear voice coil assembly with internal bearings.

It represents an important technological advance over conventional technologies for any short stroke application and provides significant improvements in speed and process throughput.

The stand also featured a display of BEI Kimco Magnetics products including brushless DC motors and rotary actuators.

These products have many applications in medical equipment, automotive components and factory automation.
