Recently appointed mainline distributor for Thomson Micron planetary servo gearheads, Heason has implemented a "Gearhead Express" service.
Currently the company guarantees delivery within 72h but is gearing-up to cut this to just 24h during the coming months.
To ensure this prompt response, customers merely have to place their orders by midday.
So if a gearhead is ordered Monday morning it will be delivered on Thursday morning.
This new rapid service applies to the DuraTrue and UltraTrue inline gearhead ranges, both of which feature Thomson Micron's RediMount simplified motor-mounting facility.
The DuraTrue is accurate to 8arc-min, is available in 3, 5, 10, 15 and 30:1 gear ratios and comes in four frame sizes (60, 90, 115 and 142mm).
Torque capacity is up to 833Nm.
Accurate to 4arc-min, the UltraTrue is available in four frame sizes (60, 75, 100 and 140mm) with gear ratios of 5, 10 and 25:1.
Torques are up to 3300Nm.
Radial load capacities are 1130 and 3850kg, respectively.
RediMount comprises a self-aligning hub that maintains concentricity between the motor shaft and gearhead whilst a pre-installed pinion eliminates pinion setting procedures.
