Having worked with distributors for the last 20 years, Heidenhain (GB) has a great deal of respect for the benefits that a good distribution network can add to its customer support programme.

The 13 regionally based retrofit distributors specialising in the supply, installation and service of its digital readouts, CNC probes and TNC upgrade packages, ensure that customers can obtain local sales and service support on Heidnhain products.

All retrofit distributors are required to attend product-training courses at Heidenhain (GB) and employ Heidenhain test equipment in the diagnostics and repair of Heidenhain products.

Additionally, they must employ a quality system to reinforce Heidenhain's ISO9001 approval.

Their experience of products from other manufacturers also benefits the customer by providing a single point of contact for service on products from a number of different suppliers.
