Heidenhain (GB) has invested in a state-of-the-art digital switchboard system at its Burgess Hill headquarters in its drive to further improve the high levels of service that it offers to its customers.

The new system allows customers to dial directly to the business group that they wish to speak to, without the need for their call to be diverted through the switchboard.

"The new phone numbers extend the direct service that we offer to customers in the UK", says Stuart Jenkins, Heidenhain's Sales Office Manager.

"Having direct access to the sales, service and repair business groups will make communications much quicker and easier".

The system is also designed to divert calls that have not been answered to the most appropriate person available".

"This eliminates any frustration of being left hanging on the telephone once you have been transferred from a switchboard, which is common with traditional systems".

"With this new system your call will always be answered".
