New health and safety event in February 07
In just three months time, Sandown Park in Surrey will play host to the first in a series of new regional exhibitions, Health and Safety '07, sponsored by DuPont.
The count down is on - in just three months time, Sandown Park in Surrey will play host to the first in a series of unique regional exhibitions, Health and Safety '07, sponsored by DuPont.
Judging by the numbers of both exhibitors and pre-registered visitors, the logic behind the regional structure of the exhibitions has obviously struck a chord.
The aim is to enable those responsible for the health and safety of their workforce to access the best ever products and services locally and more easily through the exhibition, whilst keeping up to date with industry developments through the tailor made seminar programme.
And all this is accessible within a working day! Health and Safety '07 is providing the perfect showcase for dedicated suppliers and manufacturers of specialist equipment and services.
It is an ideal opportunity for anyone involved in the buying or specifying of equipment to not only source the very latest designs and innovations, but also to gain inside knowledge from the experts.
The product and service areas include: Personal Protective Equipment; Respiratory Protection; Slips, Trips and Falls; Machinery Safety; Training and Qualifications ; Emergency / First Aid Equipment.
Western Business Exhibitions is proud to have teamed up with key industry organisations, not only in support of the exhibition but also in the development of a comprehensive and significant seminar agenda.
The result is two unique seminar programmes running concurrently across both days of the show: one in collaboration with the London Metropolitan branch of IOSH, the other put together by the show's title sponsor, DuPont, and the Event Partners: Aearo, Gore, Ansell and Principal People.
These have been planned carefully and constructively so that it is easy for a delegate to mix and match appropriate subject matters, ensuring that they can maximise the benefits of their visit to Health and Safety '07.
IOSH Seminar Highlights; Manual Handling - a major cause of absence from work, processes will be discussed which can identify manual handling problems and assess practical solutions to implement a new safe system of work; Working at Height - a major cause of death within construction sites, all aspects of safety when working at heights will be discussed; Noise - the Noise at Work regulations significantly reduced the accepted level of exposure to noise for employees.
