Hepco takes on framework system
Whilst Hepco is not unique in marketing an aluminium frame building system, the fact that it is Europe's leading linear motion specialist adds considerable value to this modular product range.
Thanks to the inclusion of these bearings in the new Pacific Dolphin Guide System, this unique two part linear motion system brings significant benefits to wide-ranging applications.
However, it also has important design and performance benefits in its own right.
The Dolphin Guide requires no assembly and is available with a range of drive options.
The Dolphin Guide System comprises a base unit which is an aluminium extrusion with integral twin shafts.
The second element is an aluminium carriage featuring FrelonGOLD(r) bearing liners - a unique material which significantly reduces friction and wear.
Both components are hard-coat anodised to provide a corrosion resistant running surface.
The combination of all these features results in an extremely hard wearing linear unit which is highly durable whilst remaining cost-efficient.
This new product is available in a choice of metric sizes to carry loads up to 680kgs., at maximum speeds of 1.5m/sec.
It has been introduced in line with Hepco's policy to provide economical design solutions which deliver high levels of performance and minimise installation time.
The design features of this new system will benefit different applications in different ways.
Thanks to the elimination of metal-to-metal contact from rolling elements, pick and place systems used in packaging equipment and integrated assembly lines will be quieter in operation.
The absence of rolling elements will also permit high-tech electronics to operate without the problem of signal distortion.
In dirty environments, steel shafting is easily contaminated and particles are sucked into recirculating ball tracks, leading to their eventual destruction.
The hard-coat anodised rail of the Dolphin Guide resists weld and paint splatter and the shaft is wiped clean of any contaminants by the FrelonGOLD(r) liner in operation.
This coating also makes the Dolphin Guide an ideal choice where the only alternative would be very costly stainless steel rails and guides. Request a free brochure from HepcoMotion ...
