Hepco takes on framework system
Whilst Hepco is not unique in marketing an aluminium frame building system, the fact that it is Europe's leading linear motion specialist adds considerable value to this modular product range.

Screw jacks resist moisture and chemicals
The Z-series of screw jacks is available in a variety of sizes for lifting requirements up to 25kN and in four standard variants.
Component compatibility is assured and the application will benefit from proven 'V' guide technology - friction-free motion, high rigidity, easy adjustment.
This strength has contributed significantly to the success of the Hepco frame building system and has led to a move which will ensure its continuous development for UK industry.
Having previously acted as the exclusive European distributor, Hepco has now bought the rights to this comprehensive system, a step which has resulted in the re-branding of the range under the new name Hepco MCS Machine Construction System, and the introduction of even more system options.

The all-steel slideway on the GV3 is three times stiffer than composite aluminium alternatives and this rugged construction makes it ideal for this type of heavy-duty application.
To give scale to this expanded range, there are now 20 structural aluminium profile sections, with sizes from 20 x 20 to 90 x 90mm, and 11 specialist profile sections for maximum application flexibility; T-slot sizes are 6, 8 and 10mm.
These are complemented by a wide variety of inexpensive connecting elements including internal, external and panel holding brackets which require no machining.
This ISO 9001-manufactured, modular system allows an almost infinite possibility of frames to be constructed for use in industrial machinery, guarding, storage and display applications.
The resultant system is particularly effective at replacing traditional welded steel structures at lower overall cost thanks to the massive time savings involved.
This cost efficiency is extended by flexibility.
Unlike welded frameworks, all MCS elements are re-usable and modifications easily made.
Three ranges of linear guides are available for mounting onto MCS structural profiles - Generation II Precision Slide System, the low cost, lower capacity CM Commercial Slide System (now incorporated into the Hepco GV3 system) plus the SL2 Stainless Steel Based Slide System.
Full technical data on the combinations available and assembled dimensions are contained within the new 72-page Hepco MCS catalogue.
The publication also details the huge range of structural and specialist profiles, connecting elements and accessories available.
Profile machining and frame construction to customers' drawings is carried out by Hepco to meet fast delivery times.
Additionally, specific cut and random lengths can be supplied for customers to construct their own system.
Frame design and specification is aided by the use of MCS CAD files, available in .DWG and .DXF format. Request a free brochure from HepcoMotion ...
The CAD disk set, containing 2D and orthographic views of all components and the MCS technical catalogue are both available from the Hepco sales office.
