Telescopic fork systems lift a tonne
Designed primarily for moving 1t euro-pallets, Hepco-Winkel's new telescopic fork systems are ideal for automated warehousing where forklift access is restricted.

Winkel GmbH builds complete high load lifting units to meet customer's specific needs and Hepco is pleased to extend this service to UK companies.
Hepco takes on framework system
Whilst Hepco is not unique in marketing an aluminium frame building system, the fact that it is Europe's leading linear motion specialist adds considerable value to this modular product range.
As the telescopic fork system is no wider than the pallet itself, it is ideal for operation in narrow aisles.
Its forks extend bi-directionally through 180 degrees.
This compares favourably to other systems that require their lifting mast to be rotated in order to align a single set of forks with the racking system.
The Hepco-Winkel system is therefore simpler and quicker to operate; it is able to achieve speeds of up to 1m/s dependent on load.
The forks are retracted and extended in both directions by a clever chain driven, rack and pinion mechanism powered by a choice of DC, AC or hydro-motor.
Rigid steel profiles and precision bearings ensure minimal deflection.
A security clutch and chain detection switches are provided as standard.
The system may also be specified with absolute or incremental encoder.
The stroke length for this unit is 1400mm (extended lengths are available) but in common with the complete Hepco-Winkel modular build programme, the required system can be tailored to suit individual needs.
The telescopic fork system is complementary to the new Hepco-Winkel lift mast.
Together they are able to provide versatile multi-axis operation.
Applications that will benefit from this new introduction include pallet storage, conveyor loading and unloading, warehouse handling and fork lift truck systems.
In excess of 18,000 options are now available within the Hepco-Winkel product range, allowing systems to be designed with load capacities extending to 500kN and with up to four axes of motion.
To save both design and assembly time, Hepco is also able to supply fully-functioning assemblies. Request a free brochure from HepcoMotion ...
