Although visitors to the HepcoMotion stand at TEAM 2005 will be left in no doubt as to the breadth of service the company provides, several new products will be highlighted.

HepcoMotion reckons it can can match just about any linear application with a standard Hepco product But where standard products are not suitable, modifications or specials can be undertaken all within competitive lead times

HepcoMotion also engineers assemblies and subassemblies to meet bespoke system needs.

Although visitors to the HepcoMotion stand at TEAM 2005 will be left in no doubt as to the breadth of service the company provides, several new products will be highlighted.

The latest addition to the HepcoMotion Heavy Duty range is MHD, Max Heavy Duty.

As its name implies, it is designed for high load/high duty applications such as robot transfer systems.

Typically a heavy robot would be mounted onto a substantial carriage plate for movement along an MHD slide system to perform a series of tasks such as welding and assembly.

Supplied in easy to use components, MHD basically comprises two elements, a series of blocks each with three large and integral crowned rollers and secondly a pair of tracks fully ground on all faces.

Each block has a maximum load capacity of 5t.

Drive options for this new MHD system are either a straight cut rack or a helical alternative.

There is also a new larger size addition to the standard HDS Heavy Duty range.

An extremely versatile high load linear system, HDS is now available with three types of bearing the largest being 128mm in diameter.

In addition to the existing slide options there is a new slide with or without integral rack to match the bearing.

Together with a new larger beam this combination is ideal for heavy duty gantry applications.

HepcoMotion will also launch a brand new range of stand-alone belt conveyors at TEAM 2005.

Many linear motion applications ultimately involve the picking and placing of products onto a conveyor.

So, HepcoMotion is now able to offer its customers a single source supply of both elements.

Introduced earlier this year but already finding favour as a highly cost-efficient and maintenance-free package, the ballscrew driven PSD120 will be featured at TEAM.

This is a versatile single or multi-axis system that combines HepcoMotion's proven Herculane wheel technology with a ballscrew drive.

Another product range that incorporates Herculane technology is PDU2.

A new double-acting version of this profile driven unit will be on the HepcoMotion stand.

Also being demonstrated is the newly extended DLS family of belt driven linear transmission units.

Particular emphasis will be given to the new DLS5, a large unit with 50mm wide belt.

Other highlighted products include HTS telescopic ball bearing slides supplied in five basic types from Super Slim lightweight and Compact versions through to Heavy Duty; BSP Ballscrew Premier Series high quality, short lead-time ballscrews and supports; new developments in the HepcoMotion-ZIMM Screw Jack building block system and LBG Linear Ball Guides, in a comprehensive range of sizes, precision grades and preload options.
