Ring slide and track makes show debut

Heavy-duty ring slide and track system can support loads up to 40kN and makes debut at Machine Building 2006 from 15th to 16th February at Birmingham's NEC.

The HDRT heavy-duty ring slide and track system has been added to Hepco Motion's linear motion range for moving high loads smoothly and accurately It can support loads up to 40kN and combines the flexibility and function of the firm's PRT ring track system with the size and strength of its HDS heavy-duty slide system

All the elements are provided to create curved paths or closed circuits.

A large module integral gear provides the driving mechanism.

The product will be on show at the Machine Building exhibition (15th to 16th February at Birmingham's NEC) along with the MHD maximum heavy-duty system.

This introduces an additional size to the top end of the range giving the system the capacity to carry higher loads.

Supplied as a kit-of-parts, MHD comprises two components - a set of blocks each with three large, integral crowned rollers and a pair of flat tracks.

Each block will take a maximum vertical load of 5tonne.

The rigidity of the MFS machine fencing system is provided by elements of the company's MCS aluminium profile range.

A wide choice of components allows the optimum structure to be created in any size and with standard or sliding doors, solid or mesh panels.

MFS provides a cheaper alternative to steel fence constructions and is for use in all areas of the factory but typically around machine installations.

Two further driven products that save design and assembly time will feature at Machine Building.

The DTS driven track system is a complete unit ready to be incorporated into a continuous positioning or dedicated assembly machine.

Carriages are propelled around an oval or rectangular track - with virtually unlimited straight length - driven by pulleys and a timing belt.

Thanks to its Herculane wheel technology, the PDU2 profile driven unit combines load capacity, speed and low friction and is compatible with the MCS system.

PDU2 has found a niche as an element in single and multi-axis machine construction.

As well as the company's flagship GV3 universal linear motion system, other products at the show include the extended Zimm screw jack building block system, Winkel heavy duty bearings for high radial and axial loads and stand-alone belt conveyors. Request a free brochure from HepcoMotion ...
