Heyco has extended its one-stop-shopping experience for engineers and designers to include a comprehensive range of plastic plugs and caps.
Responding to customer demand, Heyco has considerably increased its offering of these lines with the introduction of hundreds of new sizes in three different colours and 15 new styles.
Ideal for protecting finished items and components against damage during processing, storage or transport, the plugs and caps can also be used to seal connection ports and inspection holes to prevent the ingress of dirt and dust.
The expanded range of plugs includes tapered versions, plugs for sealing the female part of quick connectors on brake and fuel lines, pipe caps and caps with a gripping edge, for easy removal.
Also new are caps for small metal tubes and grease nipples, and a double edge cap designed to fit standard DIN43650 plugs, which is ideal for protecting solenoid valve terminals during transport.
For threaded components such as air and hydraulic unions, a comprehensive range of caps and plugs is available to suit metric, BSP and UNF threads.
