Plastic fastener and cable accessories supplier Heyco has invested in a comprehensive new interactive e-commerce website to complement the launch of its new 2004 product catalogue.
Plastic fastener and cable accessories supplier Heyco has invested in a comprehensive new interactive e-commerce website to complement the launch of its new 2004 product catalogue.
Heyco.co.uk allows simple navigation around the complete range of more than 10,000 Heyco products and features functional interactive tools to help save the time of designers, accounts staff and buyers using the site.
The new site enables Heyco to continue to develop individual relationships with customers and provide an efficient, reliable, up-to-date and fully interactive online service.
Registered users have access to a range of interactive features designed to add value to, and speed up, the buying cycle.
Payment can be made either by credit account or by credit/debit card.
All orders paid for by credit card enjoy an extra five percent discount.
For the designer the site contains comprehensive product data presented in simple table format with accompanying line drawings.
There is also the facility to download 3D CAD data in Step format for import directly into assembly drawings.
This offers a substantial time saving for the design process.
Accounts staff benefit from the site's facility to track account information.
Invoices can be viewed and if copies are requested, they can be emailed by return.
For the buyer there is live price and stock information and order tracking online.
There are also a number of functional tools to speed up the ordering process including direct basket input and the facility to create favourites lists for parts ordered on a regular basis.
