Plastic fastener and cable accessories supplier Heyco has enhanced its service offering with a range of flexible, value-added services for customer specific bagging, kitting and dying.
Plastic fastener and cable accessories supplier Heyco has enhanced its service offering with a range of flexible, value-added services for customer specific bagging, kitting and dying.
Heyco is known by design engineers and buyers for its extensive catalogue of standard plastic components.
The launch of its value-added services demonstrates the company's service commitment and its willingness to go the extra mile to meet customers' individual needs.
Heyco's new services take the hassle away from the customer, freeing up their resource and saving them valuable time and money.
The new customer specific bagging service from Heyco is ideal for distribution companies wishing to sell small quantities of product off the shelf without having to rebag at their premises.
Heyco can supply parts bagged in quantities ranging from a single part, up to many hundreds.
The bags can be branded with the customer's logo and/or marked with specific part numbers, bar codes and other unique markings.
Heyco's kitting service allows customers to specify multiple parts to be kitted out in a single bag or box.
Boxes can be compartmented to contain for example, various sizes of screws, nuts and washers that can be sold with a piece of equipment as spares or fitting components.
This service is ideal for distributors who are able to sell kits on to DIY outlets or as sample boxes for research and development departments.
Equipment manufacturers are also able to buy kits as spares that are pre-bagged and ready to ship with their equipment.
The dying service from Heyco allows customers to colour natural or white nylon parts to a wide variety of shades.
This process is ideal for situations where a number of different colours are required for the same part, for example colouring cable ties to identify different types of cable harnesses or circuits or when only a small quantity of coloured parts are required.
There are no lengthy manufacturing lead-times involved and parts can be taken from stock, dyed and shipped the same day.
