Plastic fastener and cable management accessories specialist Heyco is kicking off the new year with a brand new name and the launch of a new 2006 catalogue.
Already part of the Anixter group of companies, as of the 1st January 2006, Heyco becomes known as Anixter Components.
Anixter Components' new catalogue delivers valuable information on the widest range of plastic components in the industry, with more than 10,000 components suitable for millions of applications in diverse markets.
With its user-friendly features and detailed product information, the catalogue is the one-stop-shop for any design engineer's purchasing requirements.
"The name has changed but our customers will still get the same innovative, high quality products and the same high level of service and technical expertise that they've come to expect", explains Andrew Fletcher, Technical Director, Anixter Components.
"Strengthening our alliances with the Anixter group is a positive move that opens up many new opportunities for us to better serve our customers as demonstrated by the great additions to our catalogue this year".
Available in traditional print and online, the new 296-page catalogue covers Anixter Components' entire product range of more than 10,000 items from categories including: PCB accessories; LED, transistor and bulb accessories; termination and insulation; motion dampers; rivets and panel fasteners; threaded fasteners and nuts; washers, insulators and bearing bushings; cable ties and accessories; strain relief bushings; liquid tight fittings; cable protection, hole banking; caps and plugs; feet; knobs and handles; and security seals.
As well as complete technical information on all Anixter Components' products, including new additions such as adhesives, sealants, protective tapes, cloth tapes, glazing tapes and continuous Velcro, the catalogue now includes information on Anixter Components' ability to source products such as wire and cable and circular power and signal connectors and value added bagging, kitting and dying services.
The web version offers multiple search facilities allowing selection by product section, photograph, description and part number.
Other special features include downloadable 3D CAD files, shopping basket facility, favourites lists, order and account tracking.
The website also provides a real-time check on prices and availability.
