Anixter introduces industrial and commercial adhesives, including Cyanoacrylate superglues, contact adhesives and anaerobic locking and sealing compounds.

Anixter Components (formerly Heyco) has introduced industrial and commercial adhesives, including Cyanoacrylate superglues, contact adhesives and anaerobic locking and sealing compounds that provide a strong and secure bond between materials such as metal, rubber and plastics.

The superglues are suitable for glazing, electronics and engineering They range from the low viscosity AD30, for bonding difficult substrates such as rubber, to the high viscosity AD200 methyl glue, for bonding metal substrates.

For fast cure applications, there is the quick drying AD Cyanoacrylate activator.

The AD-Tac contact adhesive is for general purpose applications such as wood lamination.

AD-Tac is not as strong as Cyanoacrylate superglues.

For bonding metallic fasteners such as screws, nuts and studs, there are coloured locking and sealing adhesives.

Screwlock is for non-permanent bonds on fasteners of 6mm or less, Nutlock is for larger fasteners of between 6 and 19mm, and Studlock is for permanent locking of fasteners of 25mm or more.

The range also includes adhesives for sealing pipes, gaskets and close fitting cylindrical assemblies.
