Anixter Components has launched a new range of low cost cable ties from Velcro.
The easy-to-use One-Wrap Brand Qwik Ties and One-Wrap Brand Continuous Tape are ideal for network installers looking for a simple cable management solution.
This new addition to the company's comprehensive catalogue of over 10,000 cable management products will help installers to reduce cable installation time and associated costs.
The Qwik Ties are a low cost alternative to standard hook and loop ties.
They can be fixed around cables and adjusted easily to create an effective and secure method of bundling in light duty applications, such as holding fibre optic or network cables.
The tie is simply wrapped around the cables and the remaining strap tip attaches back on itself, or it is threaded through the pre-formed eyelet for a neat and reliable closure without buckles or hardware.
Qwik Ties are available in a range of colours, handy for colour coding and network cable management.
Made from low density polyethylene and nylon, the cable ties are available in a standard 20 or 25mm width and 130, 200 or 300mm length.
Qwik Ties can also be printed with promotional messages, company details or identification information.
Double-sided and re-useable, One-Wrap Continuous Tape is ideal where the cable bundle size may vary.
As with the Qwik Ties, the tape is simply wrapped around the cables and the remaining strap attaches back on itself.
It is a roll which can be cut to any desired length without any special tooling or training.
The roll length is 25m and it is available in widths of 10, 16, 20, 25 and 50mm.
