Anixter Components has added cable markers and accessories to its 2008/2009 catalogue.
Cable markers are ready-marked single-character flexible sleeves that can be combined to produce the completed legend.
The range of cable markers covers wire sizes from 1.0mm to 7.0mm in diameter.
The installer assembles the combinations required on site, using markers specifically designed for use with wires, cables, pipes, hoses and components.
A wide range of packaging types and accessories are available to simplify the marking process, including cassette dispensers, carrier strips, kit boxes and applicators.
The range covers wire sizes from 1mm to 7mm diameter across four marker styles, and is produced from cadmium and silicone-free soft PVC that meets the requirements of UL94V-0 flammability rating and retains a consistent shape in temperatures ranging from -30 to +70C.
Anixter markers combine low cost, easy application and the ability to make up any ident.
They are manufactured to high quality to provide excellent legibility, consistent appearance and long service life.
