Wiring fitting handles slit and unslit conduits
The XPS 1208 two-piece symmetrical modular fitting is designed to snap together over slit and unslit conduit and enable cables to be slotted into a wiring harness.
By specifying these IP40 interfaces to protect harnesses, vehicle wiring will also be protected from the effects of high-pressure washing.
The interface also offer strain relief to connectors.
The 90 degree interface is designed to allow conduit to switch through 360 degrees around the connector housing.
This avoids problems caused by over flexing due to vibration that are associated with one-piece interfaces.
Straight fittings are available to suit conduit size from 8-20mm diameter with 2-12 way connectors.
Elbow fittings suit 12mm conduit.
They all snap together over slit and unslit conduit and offer a nominal 120N pull off strength.
Operating temperature range is in static operations is -40 to 120C and -5C to 150C in dynamic applications.
