Pump specialist Hidrostal can now provide a versatile emergency pumping system, vital equipment if the recent flooding continues.

Available as skid mounted or with road or site trailer options, Hidrostal's Betsy pumpsets can answer most emergency pumping requirements.

The Betsy range of diesel-driven pumpsets benefits from the Hidrostal screw centrifugal impeller, with its large free passage and inherent solids handling capabilities.

The pumpsets are ideally suited for floodwater and sewage over-pumping duties.

The Hidrostal impeller's high efficiency requires a small diesel engine and hence has lower fuel consumption.

These energy efficient pumps are environmentally friendly, with a noise reducing, acoustic enclosure and have a self-contained leakage facility.

The pumpsets have an automated level control system and clutch operated vacuum pump, which are used to avoid unnecessary running time.

Waterways in Holland already employ Hidrostal's Betsy pumping systems.

They are used when flood or storm water threatens to over run an area.

When the water rises the Betsys automatically start up and pump the seepage of water immediately back into the water-course.
