Hitek's mobile calibration service makes it the first company of its kind in the UK to offer an on-site calibration service to its customers at no extra charge

Hitek's mobile calibration service has been going from strength to strength since its inception five years ago It is the first company of its kind in the UK to offer an on-site calibration service to its customers at no extra charge

No job is too small for Hitek and unlike other larger companies it does not impose an unrealistic minimum charge for its on-site calibration services.

Hitek is a small but thriving company that deals with large OEM, but which is more than happy to service the smaller enterprise at a sensible price.

Hitek's mobile/on-site service does not stop at the UK but extends to the whole of Europe where it is perceived by its clients as giving a first class service at an extremely competitive cost.

This is in part due to the fact that even in Europe no extra charge is imposed by Hitek for its on-site service.

The cost of the job is assessed and once agreed with the customer the place or country is irrelevant, with no hidden charges being added, in fact at Hitek it is felt that it is as cost effective to service companies abroad as it is in this country.

In some European countries, particularly Germany, it is more cost effective for a company to hire Hitek to service its components than to retain a German calibration company, in some instances saving them up to two thirds in fees.

At first Hitek's contacts in Europe were gained via the UK divisions of European companies, but due to its ongoing success through recommendation and word of mouth, the parent companies now contract Hitek's services direct.

M/F Ninety percent of the work which Hitek carry out in its workshop can be carried out by its on-site engineers in the mobile vans.

Some of the calibration services available are: RF and Microwave; temperature and humidity calibration; balance and dimensional; sound level calibration; torque; mechanical and crimp tool.

"Hitek is a unique service which, by providing on site and mobile calibration of equipment, will drastically reduce a company's downtime" commented Martin Kulin, managing director of Hitek, " most customers come to us because of this which means employees can carry on working with the minimum of disruption".

The type of customer/industries who use Hitek's services are enormously varied and include: military; telecom; food industry; medical; schools; power supply; tranformer; music; banking; radar; packaging; marine and aircraft industries to name just a few.

It has also recently signed a substantial contract with one of the large computer companies to provide on-site calibration.

As well as being unique for the service which they provide Hitek is also accredited to the UKAS and ISO9002 , companies retaining its services can therefore rest assured that their equipment is in the very best of hands.
