Clients of Hitek (formerly Hitek Calibration Services) can now access an even broader range of online services.
For some time, customers have been able to download their calibration test results including full test data and a calibration certificate.
This free service includes on-site calibration, allowing clients to access the results even before the engineer has left the building this is thanks to Hitek equipping its engineers with wireless broadband laptops to transmit the results back to base.
Now the online service has been extended and enhanced with the first stage release of the new SQL systems.
Hitek's programmer Andy Reynolds has been very innovative; many of the functions are a first in the way they are used.
Clients are able to manage all the calibration of their instruments through a secure area of the Hitek website.
This provides clients will automatic reminders when calibration is due as well as the ability to track progress of calibration and repair work, download or view calibration test results, invoices and history all in "real time".
