The new range of Hitachi HMIs (human machine interfaces) from HID is designed to make system operation as simple as possible.

There are eleven models in the EH-HMI series, including text and graphics displays as well as touch panels, which allow users to select the best technical and economical solution for an application.

All the panels are programmable with easy to use EH-View software, which reduces costs and training requirements.

The EH-HMIs have high resolution graphic displays which are easily read, even in bad lighting conditions.

They are dust and splash proof to IP65 and are compact to save on installation space.

Customised for all Hitachi PLCs and inverters, the EH-HMIs also have drivers for Siemens S5 and S7 and Groupe Schneider PLCs.

All common fieldbus interfaces are included and the EH-Micros have recipe capability, alarm processing and a trending graphics facility.

The HMIs can also be adapted to customer specifications.

The EH-View software is a Windows-based application with a flexible WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor for building the operator panel.

Text, graphics, variables, touch cells and other elements are easy to add, to create a system which is tailored to the application and simple to use.

In large applications a network of HMIs can be installed and a data exchange network among panels and PLCs set up.
