HID has appointed Bob Halls as its new Sales manager for the South of England.

HID has appointed Bob Halls as its new Sales manager for the South of England.

Hall comes from Spectral Drives where he was company director.

He started his career with Pye Electrics, which later became Tasc Drives where he worked for 22 years, ultimately becoming their Systems Project Manager.

It was there that he developed his expertise in variable speed drives and was involved in the development of the innovative Switch Reluctance Drive in conjunction with the Universities of Nottingham and Leeds.

Halls was attracted to HID as he already possesses a thorough knowledge of its product range.

Coupled with his belief that HID's product range would continue to thrive in a very competitive marketplace, Bob felt that this was enough for him to base his work in his home region of East Anglia.
