Hima-Sella's key product partner, Hima Paul Hildebrandt, is contributing to the conference with a presentation on "Functional safety: guiding principles for end-users and system integrators".

Presented by Tino Vande Capelle of Hima, Germany, this paper will explain to end users the most important high level requirements when designing a safety instrumented system.

It will also address the significance of the architectural constraints from the point of view of the IEC61508 and IEC61511 standards.

Present on the Hima-Sella stand (B4p) will be John Lunt, Sales Applications Engineer, who specialises in the design and supply of control systems in hazardous areas, incorporating panel build, marshalling cabinets, mimic displays, Scada and PLCs.

Also present will be Andy Crosland, who is the Sales Applications Engineer responsible for the design and supply of integrated safety and control systems, with experience in providing safety related solutions, up to SIL3, such as burner management and emergency shutdown.
