A long standing relationship between the organiser of Weldex and the American Welding Society (AWS), has resulted in the establishment of a dedicated AWS pavilion at Weldex 2006.

The pavilion will feature AWS members, as well as the society itself, with US products and services from the US welding and fabrication industries.

"The AWS pavilion is great news for all exhibitors", says the show's Karin Allfree.

"It reflects the international flavour of Weldex and the importance given to the show by the AWS, as well as giving visitors great choice and more reasons to visit".

Associate Executive Director of AWS, Jeff Weber, comments: "The American Welding Society is extremely pleased to be partnering with Weldex 2006 by sponsoring an American Pavilion at this prestigious exhibition".

"The UK is a prime market for welding and cutting products, and we recognise that Weldex draws a strong audience of committed decision makers from the metal fabrication and construction industries".

AWS serves 50,000 members worldwide.

Membership consists of engineers, scientists, educators, researchers, welders, inspectors, welding foremen, company executives and officers, and sales associates.

Interests include automatic, semi-automatic and manual welding, as well as brazing, soldering, ceramics, lamination, robotics, and welding safety and health.

Positioned between MACH and Subcon, Weldex is supported by associations, publications and societies and is part of what promises to be the most exciting manufacturing event in the UK for many years.
