A completely new design of rope cutting device the QuicKutter has significant advantages over all other systems, and has recently been fitted to the RNLI Tamar class of offshore lifeboats.

A completely new design of rope cutting device the QuicKutter has significant advantages over all other systems and has recently been fitted to the RNLI Tamar class of offshore lifeboats This new cutter operates in a similar way to a lathe tool in that the blade is small and fixed and it shaves through any debris using the turning force from the engine

It has very little impact on the water flow characteristics over the propeller and has proven to be robust and effective in months of trials on commercial fishing boats in Australia.

It is available for any shaft size and there is also a version for outboard motors.

This is another first - the first ever rope cutter that can be used on an outboard motor.

Composite bearings for oil water or dry running applications are now available in lengths up to 900mm.

They have been supplied to military craft and have been used in mining operations with high temperature applications.

The Sandstopper is a new device that effectively inhibits wear caused by liquid born abrasives in bearing systems that are immersed.

Initial applications are marine stern gear where sand and silt causes accelerated wear of bearings and shafts.

With the Sandstoppers fitted the abrasive particles are removed and wear virtually eliminated.

This same patented principle also can be applied to any bearings that run in a liquid which may contain small abrasive particles.
