Deep-spigot gearboxes offer mounting
options
The Neugart PLV deep-spigot gearbox range is available now from HMK Automation and Drives.
When designing planetary gearboxes within production machines, there is often a requirement to mount the gearbox through side plates In these situations it is preferrable to get the bearings close to the pulley/gear and also to gain full use of the shaft length
This can be facilitated by having a deep spigot on the gear head, and the new Neugart PLV range provides the performance of the PLS gearbox range with the flexibility of this mounting.
In addition, Neugart has designed this range to be flange-compatible with units from other manufacturers, such as Alpha and ZF, allowing users of these products to trade up to the superior performance of the Neugart product without the need for machine redesign.
