Easier access to complex technical software
The latest version of the EASA (Enterprise Accessible Software Applications) package provides substantial improvements in its ability to provide simplified access to complex technical software.
Harness Software's flagship product, Capital H, is becoming the industry standard solution, for the complete wire harness design to manufacture process.
Harness Software's decision to ASP-enable Capital H addresses two key issues in the harness industry.
Firstly, users need flexibility to access Capital H anytime, anywhere, which is driven by the increase in demand for globalisation and centralisation of data and processes.

Secondly, Capital H provides a viable alternative to smaller organisations, who traditionally have been unable to afford the up-front capital investment required to support such a sophisticated application.
Through the ASP model, Harness Software is also able to provide added value to its existing customer base.
With many of its end users assessing Citrix for corporate use, there was a demand for a new version that could be supported effectively in this environment.
John Judkins, technical director, for Harness Software commented: "With increasing pressures for shorter time to market, greater cost reduction and control, we realised that an ASP solution was the only viable option.
ESOFT Global's partnerships, experience and ability to deliver have demonstrated that it is the leading organisation in a growing ASP marketplace.
This extension of our software fulfils the specific needs of the industry and we are now able to offer our customers increased competitiveness and global standardisation." Tim Pickard, market development director, for ESOFT Global commented: "We are delighted to have been chosen as Harness Software's ASP partner.
This is further endorsement of ESOFT Global's commitment to the development of the ASP market across all vertical software sectors."
