Trailing shields protect stainless steel
Investment in advanced tooling cuts the cost of trailing shields.
Following a thorough examination of manufacturing costs Huntingdon Fusion Techniques (HFT) has invested in advanced tooling for use in the manufacture of trailing shields and is now able to pass the savings on to its customers.
The expected savings will be significant and thus extend the use of trailing shields, already in widespread use throughout the world to protect stainless steel during welding, to applications previously considered uneconomic.
The product range includes shields for flat and circular applications and a range of datasheets is available on request from HFT.
