Horstmann Controls has introduced the ThermoPlus XL thermostatic radiator valve which completes Horstmann's SAP80 package, raising domestic SAP ratings and therefore contributes to lower fuel costs

As part of its commitment to providing a total package of energy efficient domestic heating controls, Horstmann Controls has introduced the ThermoPlus XL thermostatic radiator valve.

The new valve completes Horstmann's SAP80 package which raises domestic SAP ratings and therefore contributes to lower fuel costs.

The package already includes the ChannelPlus XL, a three-zone programmer, and the ZonePlus XL, an electronically controlled zone valve.

Thermostatic radiator valves recover heat contributions from both the sun, and from room occupants, and accurately maintain the internal building or room temperature set by the occupant, to provide the most economical control of heat available.

The ThermoPlus XL contains a liquid sensor, which provides greater sensitivity than wax sensors, to give precise settings for every room.

A dual flow system allows for both vertical and horizontal positioning on flow or return.

Locking pins lock and limit the temperature range and the valves have an easy to read setting ring.

Remote control and a remote sensor are further options.

As part of Horstmann's XL series, the ThermoPlus XL is included in the company's new loyalty scheme which gives installers unparalleled support and the added security of a unique five-year warranty.

The scheme also gives installers the chance to qualify for points towards a range of exciting gifts.
