Horstmann Controls has released a comprehensive guide to its most energy efficient rangeof domestic heating control systems yet, in time for new regulations aimed at cutting CO2 emissions

New building regulations, which come into force early next year, aim to cut CO2 emissions from new houses by up to a quarter and reduce householders' bills by 25% In light of this, ready for the new heating season, Horstmann Controls, the UK's leading manufacturer of domestic heating control systems, has released a comprehensive guide to its most energy efficient product range yet

The new regulations demand separate control of hot water and two heating zones in all new build and refurbishment projects where floorspace exceeds 150m2.

As a result, Horstmann's new guide contains in-depth details of its ChannelPlus H37XL, the first programmer on the market to meet this standard.

Among the other products featured in the guide is the new XL range of domestic heating controls, consisting of further programmers in the ChannelPlus XL series, ZonePlus XL motorised valves and ThermoPlus XL TRV's, all of which carry a worry-free, five-year guarantee.

A full range of other heating controls includes traditional, easy-to-use, electro-mechanical timers up to the most advanced electronic programmers.

A product selection chart allows installers, merchants or specifiers to quickly select the best control system, for both new-build or replacement installations, and is split into five control areas; programmers, temperature control, flow control, electronic boost control and immersion heater control.

To further aid product selection, all products are shown with wiring diagrams or layout guides and technical specifications.
