A Hobbs Valve product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 9, 2009

Hobbs Valve, an NOF Energy member, exhibited two products at Offshore Europe 2009, which took place in Aberdeen on 8-11 September.

The South Wales-based company introduced triple offset cryogenic butterfly valves and a 600lb (272kg) pressure class range at the exhibition.

Hobbs Valve produces high-specification, high-performance valves for supply to the global onshore and offshore oil-and-gas, chemical, petrochemical, nuclear and power industries.

The new butterfly valve has been specifically engineered for use in the delivery of liquid natural gas and can withstand temperatures of -196C.

The company has added the 600lb pressure class range to its existing portfolio of 150lb and 300lb valves to manage high-pressure applications.
