Actuators, linear drives and more in CAD
catalogue

A new 2D/3D CAD catalogue encompasses virtually the complete Hoerbiger-Origa range and includes actuators, linear drives and guides, valves, cylinders, air preparation, piezo technology and more

The new 2D/3D CAD catalogue from Hoerbiger-Origa has been designed with the designer in mind and is available on-line at www.hoerbiger-origa.com or, for the busy design office, also comes on a free CD-ROM Either way, it encompasses virtually the complete Hoerbiger-Origa product offering from A-Z and includes actuators, linear drives and guides, valves, cylinders, air preparation, piezo technology and accessories

The CAD catalogue is developed from PART solution software, the industry standard for parts and assemblies.

The Hoerbiger-Origa catalogue not only allows immediate access to product overviews and data-sheets, but, in the CAD section, also provides two or three dimensional drawings for both components and complete assemblies - in ACIS SAT, STEP, IGES, DWG or DXF formats - for direct importing into most CAD packages.

What's more, if the CD-ROM is fully installed, users have the additional benefit of selecting the native formats that they use themselves - PRo/E, CATIA, IDEAS, Unigraphics, Solidworks and AutoCAD.

On the web, users can choose to download all or part of the Hoerbiger-Origa product range and, after registration, are sent, via email, their selected two dimensional CAD drawings or three dimensional models in the format of their choice.

This eliminates long download times.

However, with the free CD-ROM, the user receives not only the catalogue and all of the CAD files available on the web, but also provides the means for complete assemblies to be configured and imported into the designer's CAD system.

Hoerbiger-Origa's well-developed assembly structure leads the designer towards logical combinations of products, such as linear guides and end cap mountings, and prevents incompatibilities.

The system is highly intuitive, with parts selected from simple menus using either text or product pictures and the program menu features icons that are familiar to most CAD users.

The CD-ROM follows through to make ordering even easier, supplying the appropriate order numbers for parts or configured assemblies and even supplies the means for immediate ordering, eliminating the tedious task of leafing through a thick paper catalogue.
