Stainless-steel handles upgrade enclosures

A new range of Type 4X rated 316 stainless steel accessories is now available both for new enclosure applications and for upgrading existing Hoffman enclosures.

A new range of Type 4X rated 316 stainless steel accessories is now available both for new enclosure applications and for upgrading existing Hoffman enclosures.

New accessories include aesthetically designed 316SS deep-hinged window kits and 316SS Powerglide handles.

These Type 4X accessories are the first of their designs in the market.

Hoffman's Type 4X rated deep-hinged window kit provides protection, visibility and convenient access to equipment and components mounted behind the window.

Available in seven sizes, the kit is designed to allow convenient and direct mounting in the useable space of Hoffman NEMA and Concept wall-mount enclosure doors.

Window kits are also available in Type 4 rated mild steel and can be mounted to any Hoffman enclosures that have suitably sized mounting surfaces.

Hoffman's patented 316SS Powerglide handles, standard on Type 4X rated stainless steel and glass-fibre free-standing enclosures with handles, are now available as an accessory.

316SS Powerglide handles provide corrosion-resistance and are ideal for applications requiring washdown and quick access.

Handles are available in three versions - clockwise opening with an integral screwdriver defeater, clockwise opening without defeater, and counter-clockwise opening without defeater.

Handles can be easily installed in any Hoffman free-standing enclosure that has a Powerglide handle installed.

Additional product upgrades include corrosion-resistant 316SS lifting eyes on all free-standing stainless-steel and glass-fibre enclosures.

Grounding/bonding provisions have also been added to all free-standing stainless-steel enclosure bodies and doors.
