Horton has named Jeff Wood Manager of Sales/Application Engineering for Paccar and General Motors.

He replaces Neal Shawaluk who was recently appointed Director of Sales, Off-Highway, Industrial and Specialty Markets at Horton.

Wood will work at Horton's Roseville, Minnesota, headquarters, reporting to Jeff Lindgren, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Wood has worked for Horton for five years, most recently as Key Account Manager for Off-Highway and Specialty Vehicles.

Wood was instrumental in the release of the fan clutch cooling solutions for advanced combustion emission reduction technology (ACERT) and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) engines for Horton customer, Paccar.

Wood also played a key role launching Horton's value-added reseller programme for distributors.

"We're pleased to have Jeff Wood on the Paccar and General Motors team, as well as on the overall Horton team dedicated to unsurpassed quality and customer service as we look ahead to solutions for Euro V, 2010 and beyond", says Lindgren.

Wood began his career with Horton as a design engineer for the Paccar account.

He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
