Horton has hired Doug Bassinger as Director of Corporate Quality Assurance for all Horton locations worldwide.

Horton has hired Doug Bassinger as Director of Corporate Quality Assurance for all Horton locations worldwide Bassinger will be based at Horton's Roseville, Minnesota, headquarters, reporting to Randall Nord, President and Chief Executive Officer

Bassinger will have responsibility for TS16949 quality system maintenance and auditing, supplier quality assurance, reliability engineering, field service and warranty administration.

"We are pleased that Doug Bassinger is joining our team and adding his impressive industry and quality expertise to Horton", says Nord.

"We continue to emphasise quality, reliability and customer service as essential elements of Horton's success".

Bassinger has more than 30 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.

Most recently, he was Director of Quality Assurance for the US operations of Getrag Corporation, a systems supplier and integration partner of transmission and drivetrain systems.

Bassinger also held positions as purchasing manager and manufacturing manager with Getrag.

In addition, Bassinger has worked at General Motors - as Quality Supervisor for the facility in Three Rivers, Michigan; and as quality and materials supervisor for the facility in Toledo, Ohio.
