Horton has appointed Joe Herzog as Vice President of Engineering for all Horton products.

Horton has appointed Joe Herzog as Vice President of Engineering for all Horton products.

Herzog will be based at Horton's Roseville, Minnesota headquarters, reporting to Randall Nord, President and Chief Executive Officer.

"Joe Herzog's experience with engine design and development makes him a great asset for our company", says Nord.

"His understanding of our markets and his expertise in heavy-duty engines will help us serve the needs of our customers well into the future".

Herzog comes to Horton from Polaris Industries, where he directed the design and development of Polaris engines and transmissions.

Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Cummins Power Generation, where he held positions as a Design and Application Engineer, Engineering Manager, Engineering Director and General Manager.

Herzog also worked for Deere as a Design Engineer for logging and construction equipment.

He has a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University.
