Howarth Metals has opened a GBP5.5m metal-recycling site in Ardwick, Manchester.

The recycling base will become the north-west headquarters for the UK metal-recycling division of One51 Group, which owns three companies in the region, including Howarth Metals.

To promote the new site, Howarth Metals is offering customers a loyalty bonus scheme, in which they can claim an extra five per cent cash bonus on top of the value of the scrap they bring in.

This offer will run until December.

The new site in Ardwick will facilitate the full range of scrap metals and Howarth is encouraging businesses and members of the public to bring all types of scrap metal to the site.
