A few Honeywell variable speed drives cater for all HVAC applications up to 30kW, simplifying model selection and reducing stockholding.
Backflow preventers protect water supply
Honeywell BA295 valves protect drinking water systems against back pressure, back flow and back siphonage, ensuring compliance with relevant water regulations.
The STT150 is the ideal choice for applications requiring the smallest head-mount transmitter, fast PC configuration or a rare sensor type - and all at an economical price compared with more highly-specified models in the Honeywell range.
"Temperature is the most common measurement in industry.
However, the majority of these measurements are not critical and can not justify the cost of smart temperature transmitters," says Product Manager Marc Kroll.
"This is why most applications use direct wiring into the control system with extension wires, or even low input thermocouples or RTD multiplexers to reduce installation cost.
The STT150 will eliminate the use of extension wires and multiplexers in many applications to provide an affordable solution for temperature measurement.
And it will increase measurement accuracy and reliability at the same time." The STT150 is ultra-compact and fits neatly into a DIN B size connection head.
It supports all industrial sensor types (RTDs and thermocouples).
A unique capability is that every unit holds its original factory calibration data in its memory, thus allowing the user to print off the calibration certificate on a PC.
Other features include flexible sensor and range configuration, fast PC configuration, and an indication meter in the same housing.
"With its advanced diagnostics providing reliable operation and its low maintenance needs, the slogan 'Fit and Forget' is probably the most appropriate for this product," says Kroll.
"It is simply perfect for applications such as non-critical loop monitoring, profiling and basic alarming." The introduction of the STT150 signals the completion of Honeywell's STT 3000 thermal solutions product range.
Customers can now go to Honeywell for "one-stop shopping" for all their thermal solutions requirements.
In addition to the STT150, the STT 3000 family includes the mid-range STT250; the high-performance, high-functionality STT350; and the STT35F, which offers Foundation Fieldbus support.
All models come with a wide range of safety approvals and options.
