Complete materials testing system
launched
The new 'T-Series' range of tension and compression materials testing machines contains five models, extending from the portable H1K-T to the bench mounted or floor standing H50K-T
Launched in September 2001, the new 'T-Series' range of tension and compression materials testing machines from Hounsfield Test Equipment has been specially developed to meet the technical requirements of Research or Quality Control engineers operating in Laboratory, Factory and Educational environments Customers can now benefit from quality technology that is reliable and accurate (guaranteed force accuracy of 0.5% of the applied force, extension resolution 0.0001 mm, speed accuracy 0.005%) and delivered at a competitive price
The 'T-Series' range contains 5 models, extending from the portable H1K-T with a load frame capacity of 1kN (0-100kg) through to the bench mounted or floor standing H50K-T for force testing in capacities up to 50kN (5,000kg).
With equipment operating directly from a standard PC under the control of proprietary QMAT XT or QMAT-Pro software, Hounsfield has created a fully integrated testing environment.
Safe and easy to use, 'T-Series' equipment can perform a range of tests to check, prove and monitor the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products, assuring the delivery of guaranteed quality goods.
Organisational efficiency is also increased by a reduction in materials wastage and improved testing times.
Designed to complement the highly successful premier 'S-Series' range, the introduction of the 'T-Series' offers customers a wider choice when selecting and investing in the right system to suit their specific testing needs.
The 'T-Series' is compatible with 1000+ test specimen holders, grippers and attachments, enabling the machines to perform more than 1300 certified and traceable mechanical and physical tests across a broad range of materials in accordance with relevant international and industrial testing standards.
Based on familiar technology, it is simple to use and to train new operators.
Numerous test applications can be carried out and the new unique Binary Data Communication Mode ensures no loss of data speed when handling large numbers.
Tension, compression and flexure testing is easy to achieve under software control, providing traceable quality control and research standard test reports.
The system automatically saves test parameters and results, ensuring no data loss if the PC crashes or PC power fails.
QMAT XT software is delivered as standard with the package, providing portable data and enabling users to create test methods, conduct tests, view/edit results, customise and print reports, copy/paste and save results and graphs.
Increased flexibility and control can be achieved by upgrading to the exceptional functionality of QMAT-Pro.
The 'T-Series' has been designed by specialist materials testing engineers, experienced in harnessing leading edge technology to provide practical, high quality solutions.
Machines are supplied with all necessary tools, components and manuals for easy installation and use.
During the remainder of 2001, the 'T-Series' will be on display on the Hounsfield stand at the Metals Engineering Show, UK (8-12 Oct), ITMA Asia, Singapore (15-19 Oct), K Plastics Show, Germany (25-30 Oct) and Inspex, UK (30 Oct-1 Nov).
A demonstration can be arranged by contacting the Technical Sales team on +44 (0)1737 765001 or visiting the Hounsfield Roadshow which will be touring the South of England from 12-16 November and Ireland from 26-30 November, 2001. Request a free brochure from Tinius Olsen ...
