HPC Drives, of Chesterfield, have developed an on-line version of its 578-page catalogue of mechanical drive components at www.ondrives.com.

The site, named Ondrives, provides easy browsing facilities through the company's range of over 18,000 products and enables customers to place orders on-line with secure facilities for credit and debit cards.

Account holders may use a corporate log-on feature and their company is then invoiced in the usual way.

Claiming to be the first major supplier in its market to have a complete on-line catalogue, Ben Hinchliffe, HPC Drives' managing director said: "We've worked hard over the years to build a wide range of quality products in an easy-to-use catalogue.

It was a natural step for us to get the catalogue on-line to make it as easy as possible for our customers to access up-to-date product information and place orders.".
