HPC Drives becomes Ondrives

An Ondrives/Rino Industries product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 13, 2000

HPC Drives of Chesterfield changed its name to Ondrives on 1 July 2000.

HPC Drives of Chesterfield has changed its name to Ondrives with effect from 1 July 2000.

The new name reflects the company's growing presence on the Internet and follows the launch of a comprehensive on-line catalogue that allows engineers to place orders and make enquiries on the web.

Ben Hinchliffe, the company's managing director said: "Our catalogue now contains over 18,000 components and it's growing every year.

The web site makes it easier for our customers to access our complete range of products and place orders on-line.

The name change is a rebranding exercise to position the company at the high-tech end of customer services.

We still have all our traditional customer services in place, but we firmly believe that the Internet will revolutionise the way we conduct our business.".
